1. Information we collect
Contact and application information: name, email, phone, property details, and messages you provide.
Payment information: payment details are entered on Moov's hosted page. WhaleyCo never receives or stores them. During payment processing, Moov may collect device and IP information for fraud prevention, as described in the Moov Privacy Policy. WhaleyCo does not independently log or store visitor IP addresses.
Property records: lease terms, maintenance history, correspondence, and related management records.
Website usage data: basic browser type and pages visited may be available through hosting operations. We do not use third-party tracking scripts or analytics that capture or store IP addresses.
2. How we use information
We use information to evaluate applications, manage properties, process payments through Moov, meet legal and tax obligations, and respond to inquiries. We don't disclose personal information for marketing, and we don't use tenant screening or payment information for marketing.
3. Who we share with
We may share necessary information with Moov Financial, Inc. and its banking partners, property owners, government agencies or courts when required by law, and service providers operating under data-use agreements.
4. Data security
We maintain an information security program with administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the security, confidentiality, and integrity of personal data. Card and bank details are held by Moov using bank-grade encryption and PCI DSS–compliant infrastructure. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
5. Data retention
Lease, payment, and correspondence records are retained for legal and tax compliance, generally for several years after an agreement ends.
6. Cookies
We use only basic cookies needed for site functionality. We do not use third-party tracking pixels or advertising cookies.
7. Your rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion by emailing HughWhaley@whaleyco.biz. Payment data requests go through Moov directly.
8. Children's privacy
Our services are for adults only. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices or legal obligations change. The date above identifies the latest revision.
